About the Cover

Cover Figure

A female of the parasitoid wasp Lysiphlebus testaceipes is ready to attack larvae of its host, the aphid Aphis gossypii. Females adapt their exploitation of host patches based on the size of previously encountered patches and the travel time between patches (see Tentelier, Desouhant, and Fauvergue, pp. 515–521), a behavior which may drive populations toward the ideal free distribution (see Fauvergue et al. pp. 522–531).
